GASYM on March 16, 2015, in association with Government First Grade Degree College, Channarayapatna, organized a workshop on "Self-Evaluation of Breast for Cancer" on the occasion of International Women's Day Celebration. GASYM on September 15, 2015, organized a lecture program on "Challenges of future scientific ambassadors in the conservation of Biodiversity". This was a part of World Ozone Day celebration. Dr. Sunil Kumar C. R. addressed higher primary and pre-university students of the institution on this occasion.

Survey Program on Unscientific Usage of Agrochemicals

GASYM initiated a survey program on June 7, 2015. The survey was proposed to understand the "Unscientific Usage of Agrochemicals around Mandya. Mysuru and Hassan districts of Karnataka" the survey was initiated at agriculture land near Daripura, a village which is approximately 25km from the Mysuru. President of GASYM, Dr. Sunil Kumar C. R. with his team Dr. Mahadevakumar S, Pradeep Kumar P. M, and Mr. Marulasiddaswamy took part in this event.

"Krishi Vijnana Sanchike – 2016"

To address the problems pinpointed in the survey conducted from June 2015 – December 2015, GASYM with the vision of 'Reaching Science to the End User'. Brought out the publication 'Krishi Vijnana Sanchike – 2016' with University of Horticulture Sciences and its scientists.
Publication details about identification/scientific management of diseases and pests of 15 different crops namely Tomato, Cabbage, Pumpkin, Capsicum, Cucumber, Eggplant, Watermelon, Ladyfinger, Radish, Turnip, Bitter guard, Ridge guard, Chilli, Banana, and Coconut in an economic fashion. Launched by Dr. Maheshwar Honourable Vice-Chancellor University of Horticulture Sciences, Bagalkot released the publication on the occasion of Annual Technical Meet – 2016.

Gift Science for Farmers campaign

6. With the intention of reaching Krishi Vijnana Sanchike, Door-to-Door GASYM initiated "Gift Science for Farmers campaign" in February 2016 volunteers were accompanied by the co-ordinators to individual villages.

YUREKA- 2k16

On March 5, 2016. Team GASYM organized 'Gift Science for Farmers campaign" at state level science fest "YUREKA- 2k16" organized by Yuvaraja's College (autonomous) Mysore. Volunteers of GASYM actively participated in disseminating knowledge of Krishi Vijnana Sanchike (KVS) to the general public through the students of the college.

GASYM in association with PG Department of Microbiology, Maharani's science college for women organized a workshop on Self-Evaluation of Breast for Cancer on March 16, 2016. GASYM on 29th July 2016 organized a special lecture program on "Implications of new plant discoveries of India" by, Prof. S. R. Yadav, GASYM Honorary President's awardee for the year 2015, Retd. Prof. & Former Head, Department of Botany, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharastra, in association with Department of Botany, Yuvaraja's College (autonomous college affiliated to University of Mysuru).

13. Science Communication- Responsibilities of Future Scientific Ambassador

GASYM on 11th August 2017in association with Department of Biotechnology, SDM - MMK, College for Women, Mysuru, organized a Lecture series event on "Science Communication- Responsibilities of Future Scientific Ambassador" delivered by Smt. Shreemathi Hariprasad, Renowned scientific writer, GASYM Science communicator Awardee and "Pipeline of Drug Discovery to Market" by Mr. Lohith Kumar H.S., M.Sc, Senior Associate Scientist, Regulated Bio-analytical laboratory.

14. SCIENTIFIC ADVANCEMENTS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 2018

A National conference on "SCIENTIFIC ADVANCEMENTS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 2018" was organized during third Annual General Meeting of GASYM on 22nd - 23rd February 2018. It was an excellent opportunity and experience for GASYM to work with Mysuru Makkala Koota and Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College for Women. Members of the advisory committee of GASYM Prof. Madan Thangavelu, Inaugurated the event and delivered the keynote address. Prof. H. S. Prakash honored with GASYM Honorary President award for the year 2018. Eminent speakers like Dr. K. S. M. S. Raghava Rao, Dr. Ramachandra Kini, Dr. Mane, and Dr. Raveesh B. N have actively participated in the event.
